CrossFit Wild South Holiday Program


Our Holiday Program uses a combination of skill practice, workouts and games to begin introducing basic health, fitness, and nutritional principles to your child, in a supportive learning environment that is safe, fun and energetic

CrossFit Wild South’s vision is to improve the quality of life for all our community. Within that vision, we have a goal to provide the skills and support to empower children to become the best possible version of themselves. Through teaching our children to be responsible for their own health, fitness, and nutrition we can make a real difference in their outcomes for the future.

Health and Fitness is FUN.

In addition to learning new skills, your child will make better food choices, have greater confidence in themselves and their abilities, is more focused in school, transition into new sports more easily, and can help reduce the risk of sport-related injury.



Here is a quick overview of what you and your child can expect:


As the Holiday Program covers 2 of the age groups that our youth program has, you can check out some information about each of them at the CrossFit Kids and CrossFit Junior High pages.

Don’t worry, your child won’t be doing workouts all day!

We have several out of gym activities planned, swimming, frisbee golf, Queens Park adventures, and Skatepark to name a few.

Each day of the Holiday Program is split into 4 sessions. Each session begins with an introduction to familiarise each child with the outline and expectations for the session. This will lead to a game or activity that is related to the Skill Focus that is programmed for the session, this could be a movement, nutrition or general health and wellbeing focus, sometimes even a combination of all 3. Following the Skill Focus, a game or activity will close out the session that is fun and engaging but also relates to the Skill Focus. Your child will then have a meal break of 15 to 45 minutes before the next session begins.

There is no requirement to do all 6 of the classes (but we would love to have you attend them all), each class is only $60 and booked individually.

You can simply choose the classes that best suit your child’s schedule.


Tuesday 9th January – 9 am to 5 pm

Thursday 11th January – 9 am to 5 pm

Tuesday 16th January – 9 am to 5 pm

Thursday 18th January – 9 am to 5 pm

Tuesday 23rd January – 9 am to 5 pm

Thursday 25th January – 9 am to 5 pm


***There are only 10 spaces available for each class, so please book early to secure your child’s place.

What to Bring

Your child needs to be comfortable when participating in the Holiday Program.

Suitable clothing is a must, shorts/tights, a t-shirt/singlet and a hoodie/warm top available would be a good minimum standard for the activities. Your child may prefer a change of clothes also.

Wear suitable shoes, bring a towel and a drink bottle, fresh water will be available at all times to refill.

There will be some light, healthy snacks provided but your child should come prepared with morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. 



  • Your child will be booked for the classes you choose.
  • Please ensure they turn up on time, 9 am each class.
  • Your child will be required to work and listen to our coaches.
  • Encourage others.
  • Have fun.
  • Collect your child on time, 5 pm at the end of each class.


Is my child able to join the classes?

Everybody starts at different levels, our passion is to encourage your child to improve, whether they are a beginner or an elite athlete. We do not expect your child to do skills and activities that they physically or mentally cannot perform. Our games, skills, activities, and workouts can be modified to a level that is achievable but will also challenge your child enough to make it rewarding and fun.


After the Holiday Program, you may choose for your child to continue with our CrossFit Kids or CrossFit Junior High program.

The CrossFit Kids Program runs on Wednesdays from 3:45 pm

The CrossFit Junior High Program runs on Mondays and Thursday from 4 pm.
