We don’t do “Rounds for time” or “For time” workouts with our Kids and Juniors, instead preferring them to focus on improving and maintaining correct movement patterns while they train.
Over time, as these kids graduate through our youth programs to the teens and then adults classes, we see that when the time variable is added to their workouts they are still disciplined in their desire and ability to move consistently well.
Increasing the intensity from this point on is a far more sustainable way to improve to their overall fitness.
