Our CrossFit Kids classes utilise activities that combine two different forms, structured play and unstructured play. On their own, both are vital for a child’s wellbeing, learning and growth but when utilised together they are even more potent.
Structured play, generally involves using logic to solve problems within a given set of “rules” or boundaries, while unstructured play is creative, imaginative and open-ended. We observe how a child learns best and create stimulating quality sessions that involve both logic and creative thinking.
We believe that this will foster traits that encourage lifelong learning – a valuable skill for any person, particularly our kids.
