Reaching the end of the back squat cycles.
This week is one of our last maxes in the back squat for some time.
As previous 5,3,1s work to 95% if that’s solid hit 100% and if that’s solid then give 105% a go continuing with 5% jumps if needed.
Once this work is completed we will test out our pistol capacity.
You have the option to work to a target here. If there is no way stability can be maintained even reducing ROM then work on 2mins of step back lunges.
This is a benchmark we have done already this year on the 28th of Feb. If you scaled this previously, work to a slightly harder progression rather than aiming to beat your number – range of motion trumps scores here.
