5 sets of Max Effort strict toes to bar
We are aiming for consistent movement here.
We all know push ups sound not too bad but can run out quick.
Aim for a scale you can hit at least 3 rounds of this unbroken. Getting stuck here early will mean you don’t get the reps in here we had planned.
The weight also should be something you could keep moving the bar without having to put it down during the set.
Both movements can be done very quickly so expect to get your heart rate up. We want you to be out of breath!
Hook grip will help you fight off the forearm fatigue but expect this to be a factor.
Strict Toes To Bar is the finisher – this means the start position should be hollow – not arched, ensure grip is correct- knuckles on to top and thumbs under the bar, hanging knee raise or V-up can be done here if 3 reps cannot be achieved.
