Friday night was an epic battle for the Jandallion between Kirk and the challenger Sam.


The pace was hot right from 3, 2, 1…GO with both athletes going neck and neck right through to the Overhead Squat round before a no rep from Kirk allowed Sam to get a rep or two up on him. Sam’s lead kept accumulating a few seconds on each round and he hit the 50 Cal Air Dyne buy-out with a healthy 21 calorie lead. Kirk still put the hammer down when he got onto the AirDyne but it was a bridge too far by then and eventually relinquished the Jandallion to Sam after going down by 2 minutes and 20 seconds.

It was an amazing atmosphere with a good crowd in attendance to cheer the boys on, thank you to those that were able to make it down. It made all the difference to the boys when the WOD got a little bit darker towards the end.

Annie is one of the girls WODs.

It requires aerobic capacity, Core endurance, and Double Under technique.

The feet can be locked under some DBs and an Ab Mat should ideally be used.

Find the most challenging scale of Double Unders that will still keep this a sub 12-minute WOD.
