20 deadlift 50/35
10 hang power cleans
5 push jerk
2 parts to the session
The first part is a check in on your midline stability and posterior chain strength.
We are not maxing the deadlift but looking for a good tonnage across the 5 sets – the sets may go up or down across – ie if technique breaks down we should drop the weight back down, or if you think you can push a little more give it a nudge.
We will then move to a light WOD of Deadlifts, Hang Power Clean and Push Jerk.
Let part A set up your movement patterns for part B – there will be an obvious change from part 1 to part 2 in breathing pattern – practice bracing and breathing today to optimise work capacity.
