1km row for time

If you have done this before then you should know the pace you need to hold in order to improve on your previous time! This is an all out effort for 1km! The first 500m should be tough and at the halfway mark you should be reassessing your pace and deciding if you can pick it up a notch to get through the next 500m. By 800m you should definitely be picking it up and making that last 200m a sprint. No one should be comfortably walking away from the rower today – if you are though, make a note of that pace and time and you’re gonna have to smash it next time.
