Friday Night Lights

 

Friday Night Lights runs over 4 Fridays, August 19th & 26th, and September 2nd & 16th from 5:45pm.

  • Teams will consist of  3 athletes including the Team captain.

 

  • The Team captain must compete on every night for the team to be eligible for points from that workout. (points accumulated during the week are still counted).

 

  • The Team captain is the only Rx athlete allowed per team and must compete on every night.

 

  • One of the 2 scaled athletes will compete with the Rx (use a team strategy to select which athlete)

 

  • ALL members must be available to compete on the final night for the big team finale’.

 

  • Points can be accumulated during the week prior to the WOD for,
    • Total of 2 points for up to 2 WOD classes attended, double points if attended with a team mate.
    • Total of 2 points for up to 2 Mobility classes attended, double points if attended with a team mate.
    • Total of 1 point for an active recovery session with a team mate (walk, run, swim etc) – Photos to be posted to the main CrossFit Wild South Facebook page as a “check in” and/or tagged as CrossFit Wild South
    • Total of 1 point for a full Crossover Symmetry done (either recovery OR activation).
  • Entry fee is $10 per person (fundraising for travel to other competitions coming up).

 

This is a great way to support each other, get involved in the community and keep your motivation up over the next we while, get in to it!

There will be a crew BBQ after the final WOD, perhaps a few awards/prizes too. Usual CFWS Crew BBQ rules apply.

LeaderBoard

The points are a total of your teams weekly sheets total points and your teams placing points form the weekly WOD.

For example – If your team scores 27 points for the weekly points and scores first place in the weekly WOD your score will be made up as following;

27 (weekly points) + 16 points (8 points for 1st place for each competing team member) = 43 points for that week.

 

Bonus points can be accumulated during the week prior to the WOD for;

  • Total of 2 points for up to 2 WOD classes attended, double points if attended with a team mate.
  • Total of 2 points for up to 2 Mobility classes attended, double points if attended with a team mate

Your team captain will be issued with a card to get signed by a Coach to verify attendance and completion of the tasks.
